RESPONSIBILITES:
ET / UT inspection of rotating engine hardware with a full automated robot driven state of the art data acquisition system
Implement, teach, setup robot system with OEM for existing and upcoming GEnX and GE9X Eddy Current inspections
Inspection of piece parts and modules in accordance with prescribed engineering and technical instructions
Prepare and carry out NDT inspections especially ET according to technical NDT instructions and training.
Adjustment of ET / UT test equipment
Maintenance and control of machinery and related tooling, adapters and measurement probes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successfully completed ET / UT Level 1/2 Course in accordance with EN4179/NAS410 in an independent training school e.g. UK, DE, US
Complete training logbook for first time qualification per EN4179/NAS410
Demonstrable experience gained in a similar position
Qualification in other NDT procedures (PT,MT,RT) desirable
Good command of English comparable to Level B1 in speaking and writing
Good team work and communication skills
Technical aptitude and orientation to maintaining a high quality output
